| Ardamax Keylogger is a keystroke recorder that captures user's activity and saves it to an encrypted log file. The log file can be viewed with the powerful Log Viewer. Use this tool to find out what is happening on your computer while you are away, maintain a backup of your typed data automatically or use it to monitor your kids. Also you can use it as a monitoring device for detecting unauthorised access. Logs can be automatically sent to your e-mail address, access to the keylogger is password protected. Besides, Ardamax Keylogger logs information about the Internet addresses the user has visited.

The first thing that appears after starting the installation process is EULA, after that we are able to choose among the components of the program to install (Keylogger Engine, Log Viewer, Documentation) and the last screen that we see is the one, asking us to specify the installation folder. Three screens only are a good result, so the installation of a program doesn’t take a lot of time. The ‘Options’ screen of the program looks quite nice – all the settings are grouped into ‘General’, ‘Delivery’ and ‘Monitoring’ categories, which, in turn, are also grouped into subcategories. Log Viewer of Ardamax Keylogger is also very user-friendly with intuitive interface - all the intercepted information is grouped into 4 categories: ‘Keystrokes’, ‘Web’, ‘Chat’, ‘Screenshots’. The main screen of the Log Viewer has a panel with different filtering options on the left, which allows quickly finding the exact information a user needs.
We would like to mark out of the product advantages the following features: good URL interception (links from all the browsers, except Safari are fully intercepted), good log-transferring options (all the methods of log-delivering, except ‘Log copied to a portable device’ function are implemented) and such a rare function as ‘Configurable self-removal’ that allows the product to self-delete on a pre-specified date. It should be also added that the software is translated into three languages, namely: English, German, Russian and Swedish that happens rather rarely. Visual surveillance is also above the average – 4 of 6 functions are implemented. The product stealthiness is in the middle level – nothing is displayed in Task Manager, Start Menu or anywhere else, but we managed to find the program folder by the means, available for an average user.
Ardamax Keylogger does not have many disadvantages: one-side chat interception (only ICQ messengers were fully intercepted), zero file-activity monitoring, the absence of such information as log on/off time, the absence of the possibility to exclude users from monitoring (not from the report), but the lack of these options and functional abilities cost it a lot of points resulting in the 16th place for Ardamax in our comparison table.
Summing up we can say that Ardamax Keylogger will come in handy to all the users who value user-friendliness and pay less attention to program stealthiness, file-activity monitoring and chat interception.
New build of Ardamax Keylogger 2.9 has Swedish language added.
